The Fanboys of Downing Street

PM David Cameron: ON iPads and Wireless Music:

“I’m very proud of the fact that I’ve got an iMac and I’ve got a speaker remotely linked without a wire which I did myself. I have all the music on the iMac. The cool thing is that I now control my iMac from the iPad, to play out through the speaker but I have to admit I had a little bit of help from someone in IT on that”

I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t really given much thought to British politics since leaving Blightie almost 7 years ago after a 1O year stint with Tony the Tiger in the office. But this new guy doesn’t seem like such a stiff upper lip as they make him out to be. But what is even more interesting about this whole glam piece on 10 Downing Street is how the iPad is popping up more and more in corporate and political environments where computer security prohibits installing your own software and going to your favourite sites. We’re are seeing more and more tandem networks being set up via WiFI and cell towers in order to make successful people more productive.
