As usual Andy says it so much better than I do. Both Andy and Heir Gruber are predicting that we are all being rewired for touch on the desktop, a point brought to my attention by a ForkBombr post I read after writing my own piece on how the TrackPad is still trending wordlwide despite being kept off of the Apple homepage. I must agree with them all, this seems to be the way forward.
[UPDATE] Stephen Hacket wrote another excellent piece on the Magic Trackpad here and touches once again on the idea of convergence.
